Panola College Goes 2-0 in League Road Wins

Panola College had a strong showing in conference play this week, going 2-0 on the road with impressive wins over Angelina College and Coastal Bend.

The Fillies opened the week with a 91-79 victory over Angelina College. It was a true team effort, as nine of the ten players who saw action found the scoring column. Panola outscored the Roadrunners in three of the four quarters to secure the win. Four Fillies finished in double figures, led by Tony with 23 points and Diop with 19. Henderson and Peterson each added 13 points to round out the balanced offensive attack.

The road success continued in Beeville, where Panola defeated Coastal Bend 76-61 to close out the week. The Fillies controlled the game against the Lady Cougars, routing them in the final matchup of their road stint. All eight players scored, with five reaching double digits in another dominant team performance.

With balanced scoring and strong defensive stretches, Panola continues to build momentum in league play.
