The Panola College Volleyball team kicked off their season at the Midland Kick-Off Classic. The Fillies finished the weekend 2-2, having lost to only ranked opponents. The Fillies fell to #18 Colby College in five sets and #10 New Mexico Junior College in four sets on day one. The Fillies quickly recovered on day two defeating North Central Texas College in three straight sets and Midland College in three sets.

Brianney Reyes Javier and Alejandra Villarreal led the way for the Fillies on offense finishing the weekend with 46 and 36 kills. Reyes also added four blocks, six aces and 35 digs while Villarreal added four blocks, four aces and 27 digs.

Fillies were led on defense by libero Laura Weatherford and Amber Harris. Weatherford finished the weekend with 57 digs and 10 assists while Harris added 40 digs and nine assists. 

Isabella Padilla dished out 113 assists on the weekend while also tallying 16 kills, 25 digs, five blocks and three aces.

The Fillies will travel to Dodge City, KS this upcoming weekend for the Victory Electric Classic.
