The Panola College volleyball team returns back from Iowa going 3-0 over the weekend. The fillies defeated Iowa Western in five sets (25-19, 24-26, 20-25, 25-14, 15-12), defeated previously unbeaten Johnson County in four sets (25-11, 21-25, 25-18, 25-15) and finished the weekend defeating Colby College in three sets (25-19, 25-17, 25-14). Sophomore middle Luisa Hoffmann completely dominated on the weekend leading the fillies in kills with 40, followed by teammate Malia Viernes with 37 kills. Vitoria Mattos led the fillies offense over the weekend distributing 129 assist to guide the team to success. Taking charge of the back row action this past weekend was Andressa Soares with 41 digs, Kyndle Todd with 38 digs and Luna Franca with 29 digs. The fillies return to conference action on October 12th to face #8 Trinity Valley for camper night.
