Week 3 Recap: 

In Week 3 of the 2024-2025 season, the Panola College Fillies competed and fell in 3 matches vs. Southwest Mississippi, Murray State College and semi-pro squad Dallas Angels, moving to 2-3 on the season. 

Game 1: Panola College vs. Southwest Mississippi Community College

Final score of 54-57.

Game Highlights:

• Awa Fane led with 22 points, 7 steals and 5 rebounds.

• Rylyn Gilmore-Rose added 8 points off the bench.

• Shaine Parker had 7 points and snatched 11 rebounds.

Game 2: Panola College vs. Murray State College

Final score of 63-76.

Game Highlights:

• Ja’Nae Southall provided energy off the bench with 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists.

• Na’Kaylyn Wells had 12 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists.

• Shaine Parker added 8 points and 6 rebounds.

Game 3: Panola College vs. Dallas Angles

Final score of 80-92.

Game Highlights:

• Awa Fane led with double-double figures at 19 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals.

• Na’Kaylyn Wells put out 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists.

• Madison Caldwell had 10 points and 6 rebounds.

The Fillies look to get back in the winning column with a 5:30pm game at Eastern Oklahoma this Monday, followed by a home match versus Dallas College Cedar Valley, Saturday at 2:00pm.
