Former Panola College pitcher Chad Dallas is headed to the big leagues.  Chad is expected to make his debut with the Toronto Blue Jays tonight against Atlanta Braves.  He received the call on Lou Gehrig Day just over a year after his father, Tony passed away from ALS.  His Dad, Tony was also a Panola College pitcher in 85 - 86.  

 

First pitch between the Blue Jays and Braves is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. ET.  

 

Dallas was an All Conference pitcher for the Ponies in 2019 and transferred on to the University of Tennessee after his freshman year at Panola.  He helped lead the Volunteers to the College World Series in 2021.  He was selected as the No. 121 Draft pick in the 2021 MLB Draft by the Blue Jays.  

 

Prior to Panola, Chad was an All State pitcher at West Orange-Stark High School in Orange, TX.
